
Wayne Morphett
Wayne provides senior leadership across IDP's specialist government personal injury practice, with deep expertise in workplace injury, WorkCover and complex personal injury litigation.
He began his legal career with one of IDP's predecessor firms and has grown with the firm over 30 years. Wayne has spent his career working in the specialist area that remains central to IDP's practice today.
As Chair of Partners, Wayne plays a key role in the strategic leadership, governance and direction of the firm. He works closely with the partnership and senior leadership team to support IDP's continued focus on high-quality legal services, strong client relationships and a sustainable, well-managed practice.
He is recognised for his depth of experience in complex workplace injury matters, including acting in one of the rare personal injury cases to proceed to the High Court of Australia. His long-standing connection with IDP gives him a strong understanding of the firm's clients, people and specialist role in the Victorian personal injury landscape.
